The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports creating high-quality, engaging marketing and communication projects for the Scheck Hillel Community School. The Coordinator works closely with other Marketing and Communications team members to execute online and offline deliverables.

Responsibilities

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will coordinate and assist in all aspects of the Marketing & Communications Department, including (but not limited to), project coordination, updating the website, overseeing event collateral, preparing reports/publications for internal and external stakeholders, writing, and producing social media posts.
Supports the work of the Marketing and Communications Department, assisting with projects to advance the work of key stakeholders.
Plan, develop, and distribute electronic and print communications for events, parents, alumni, and other advancement/school-related activities.
Support content creation for department publications, including printed marketing collateral, our weekly newsletter, social media posts, and additional digital communications.
The position is comfortable assisting at various phases of projects and can triage needs and ensure deadlines are met.
Monitor department inbox and provide responses or direction on general school requests.
Assist the Director of Marketing and Communications and/or Chief Institutional Advancement Officer with other projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Effective interpersonal communication skills
Excellent writing skills and knowledge of grammar. Editing experience is a plus.
Outstanding attention to detail, Self starter with excellent organizational skills.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CRM, Website Management, Google Suite, and Social Media.
2-5 years experience in marketing and/or communications with particular focus on project coordination, content creation, digital marketing, corporate communications and website optimization.
Bachelors degree preferred
A knowledge of Jewish culture is a plus
